I wasn't able to get as much practice with this assignment as I had wanted to, so these are just the quick shots I was able to get with Professor Young's assistant, which made it easy to captures the twinkle in her eyes and get some of those Rembrandt shadows. My lovely model was Jessica, who is also a student secretary in the Jennings Building. It was pretty fun playing with the shadows, highlights, blacks, whites and even the hues in the black and whites images to get a better image. Most of the Rembrandt shadows are more subtle in these images, where as the glamour is more present. These shots only consist of the backlight, and in my future shots, I am hoping to explore front sunlight, shooting in the shadows, north window light, and playing with some extreme Rembrandt shadows.
